Classes and Events

Upcoming events at Tonic for Life. Email tonicforlife@proton.me to RSVP.

  • Oct 15th 6pm-9pm: Neuro + Spicy Meetup: An unstructured social hang out for people who fall somewhere on the "special brain" spectrum, and are interested in the "spicy" side of life, such as kink or non-monogamy. A social space where we unmask more comfortably. Bring your authentic self, you won't be too weird for us. There will be art supplies and crafts to keep hands busy. Bring your self acceptance, respect for other people, and whatever you want to eat or drink.

  • Nov 2nd 2pm-4pm: Build-A-Frog Workshop: Join us for a delightful stuffed frog workshop where creativity and fun come together! As with the bear themed workshop in the mall, you will get a chance to stuff and customize your own adorable frog. Whether you're an experienced crafter or a beginner, you'll enjoy making your own cute frog friend. We'll provide all the materials and guidance you need, so just bring your enthusiasm and a smile! Let's hop into a day of crafting, laughter, and friendship. Don't miss out-reserve your spot today!

This event is being led by our favorite feral artist, Kat Pope. Kat is a Cincinnati artist and author who blends fantasy and whimsy in their custom stuffed animal creations. Tickets are $30 and include all materials, guidance on crafting your frog’s perfect personality, as well as snacks and N/A beverages. This class is appropriate for ages 12 and up.

  • Nov 9th 2pm-4pm: Somatic Self Knowledge: Somatic means “of the body” so this workshop will explore the self knowledge you can find through greater body awareness. The brain is just one organ we use to store information and navigate the world. The body also stores what it has experienced and communicates this knowledge to you through emotion. In this workshop Rachel will help you notice and use the information you get from your body to better understand yourself and have healthier and more intentional relationships with the people in your life. We will go over techniques to get deeper into your body, gently explore what emotions feel like to the body, and learn how to use this information to stay more grounded and self aware in your day to day life.

You can register by venoming $30 to @tonicforlife or using this eventbright link

The Feral Artist Colony

A support group for feral artists of Cincinnati. We are artists, dreamers, and creative thinkers who like to get together, make art, and occasionally burn things. Inspired by the Ten Principles and my experience with regional Burning Man Events. If you are an artist unsuited for capitalism you might belong here too.
